OPEN × Rene Herse U.P.P.E.R.

Graphics for the frame of a collaboration between Rene Herse Cycles,
a traditional bike brand, and OPEN CYCLE, an up-and-coming bike brand.
The finished gravel bike is an “all-road bike” that is capable of riding on paved roads
and rugged mountain trails regardless of the environment.
We aimed to reinterpret the classic and elegant impression of Rene Herse and OPEN’s carbon frame,
which is both robust and supple and adaptable, to create a fresh look and feel.

 

トラディショナルなバイク・ブランドである、Rene Herse Cyclesと、
気鋭のバイク・ブランド、OPEN CYCLEのコラボレーションバイクのフレームをデザイン。
完成したグラベルバイクは、舗装された道路から険しい山道など、
環境に左右されない走破能力を有している、“オールロードバイク”。
堅牢かつしなやかな、順応性が高いOPENのカーボンフレームへ、
Rene Herseのクラシックで上品な印象を現代的に再解釈し、
新しい風を感じられるに。

Design：渡辺和音（There There）

早稲田大学国際文学館（WIHL）／柳井イニシアティブ 読書研究会

We were in charge of the main graphic for reading events organized by Waseda International House of Literature (WIHL) and Yanai Initiative for Globalizing Japanese Humanities.

The purpose is to pick up a book each time and discuss it with researchers and participants.
We interpreted the theme of each event and translated it into typography.

 

早稲田大学国際文学館（WIHL）と柳井イニシアティブ グローバル・ジャパン・ヒューマニティーズ・プロジェクト主催の読書研究会のメイングラフィックを担当。

毎回1冊の本を取り上げ、各研究者と参加者で議論することを目的とした研究会。
それぞれのテーマを解釈し、タイポグラフィで表現。
