We are in charge of the visual identity (VI) for three gardens in Ogikubo—Tekigaiso Park, Otaguro Park, and Kadokawa Garden—which are now newly managed by Toraya.
This summer, a new exhibition building designed by Kengo Kuma
and Associates will open next to Tekigaiso.

As a team based in Ogikubo and Nishi-Ogikubo,
it was an exciting experience to be involved with
these historic gardens in our local neighborhood.

The logo is designed to look like three gardens,
with script letters that make you feel like you can walk around.

「とらや」が新しく管理を行う荻窪の三庭園（荻外荘公園、太田黒公園、角川庭園）のVIを担当。
夏には荻外荘の隣に隈研吾建築都市設計事務所が設計した新たな展示棟がオープン。

荻窪・西荻窪を拠点に活動している私たちにとって、
地元の街の歴史的な庭園に携われることはとても刺激的な経験でした。

ロゴは、3つの庭園（3 gardens）をスクリプト文字と捉え、
歩いて回れるようなロゴデザインに。

We were in charge of the art direction for the bakery café “PARKET,” which opened at Shimonoseki City University.
The original “PARKET Font” inflates as its weight increases, resembling the way bread rises as it bakes.
This font, which evokes the aroma of freshly baked bread, served as the core of the design expression and was applied across the logo, merchandise, address displays, calendar, and official website.

下関市立大学にオープンしたベーカリーカフェ、『PARKET』のアートディレクションを担当。
オリジナルフォントの「PARKET Font」はウェイトが上がるにつれ、
フォントそのものが焼き上がるパンのように膨らんでいきます。
そんなパンの香りを感じるようなフォントたちを表現の軸として
ロゴやグッズ、住所やカレンダー、公式サイトに展開。
