TRANSIT Travel Guide

A guidebook launched from the travel culture magazine TRANSIT. Responsible for art direction and design. The majority of this book is dedicated to spot information pages, establishing a foundational grid for layout. While maintaining the atmosphere of the magazine TRANSIT, the goal was to present the information in an organized manner.

 

トラベルカルチャー雑誌 TRANSITから創刊されたガイドブック。アートディレクション・デザインを担当。

本書の大半を占めるスポット情報ページは基準となるグリッド線を定め展開。
雑誌TRANSITの雰囲気を持ちながら、情報が整理された見え方を目指した。

早稲田大学 国際文学館（村上春樹ライブラリー）

The Waseda International House of Literature (The Haruki Murakami Library)

The Waseda International House of Literature at Waseda University opened in October 2021. In addition to his literature, various books and documents are stored, and there is also an audio space, a cafe, and a gallery. We were in charge of art direction and design for visuals mainly around the bookshelves in the library, special website, special exhibition, and goods (released later).


2021年10月1日にオープンした早稲田大学 国際文学館（通称：村上春樹ライブラリー）
本棚周りを中心としたビジュアル、特設サイトや企画展、
グッズ（後日リリース予定）のアートディレクション・デザインを担当。
村上氏が母校である早稲田大学に資料の寄託・寄贈したことがきっかけとなり設立に至り、
建築家・隈研吾氏が館内のリノベーションを手掛けている。
大階段本棚では、サインに加え“パラレルワールド”のような2つの世界で存在する人形を制作。
村上文学の特徴のひとつといえる“現実と非現実があいまいに混在する世界”を表現した。
特設サイトでは大階段本棚と人形をグラフィックに落とし込み展開、
本を読む人々は自由に動き回り、実際の国際文学間同様の「文学の場」を表現している。
