写真の中の君は何を見ている

The book “What are you looking at from inside the photograph”

is a collection of photo essays by photographer Osamu Matsuo.

Osamu Matsuo’s thoughts on photography are translated into three languages,

Japanese, English, and Chinese.
The text layout is varied in format, using both horizontal

and vertical orientations to add a three dimensional feel.
The contents are expressed in an analog, not digital, style.

 

フォトグラファー松尾修の写真エッセイ集「写真の中の君は何を見ている」を装丁。
写真を撮ることについて松尾修の思いが日・英・中３カ国で綴られている。
文字組は縦横を混在させ、立体感を持たせた構成にしている。
デジタルではなくすべてアナログに落とし込んだ表現にした。

令和のレイヤー完全攻略本

“Layer Perfect Guide”
A book on layering techniques by stylists from the hair salon ‘COA’ in Ginza, Japan.
The cover features a glossy finish achieved through two types of varnish.
Throughout the pages, we aimed for a design with a translucent quality, inspired by COA’s key color, brown.

 

銀座の予約困難店「COA」のトップスタイリストたちによる
レイヤーテクニックの技術本のデザインを担当しました。
表紙には2種類のニスを使用し、キラッとした光沢感が目をひきます。
紙面ではCOAの印象的な淡いブラウンを基調に、固くなりすぎないヌケのあるデザインを展開しました。
