“Y.O.G. PERM METHOD”
Written by Toshitatsu, the director of the hair salon RESSUΛL.
With the keyword “Y.O.G.”, a unique perm curling method,
the cover was designed with typography.
Based on the gray color, we aimed for a sophisticated yet somehow rugged appearance.

独自の巻き分け方「Y.O.G.」をキーワードにタイポグラフィで表紙を展開。
グレーカラーをベースに、
洗練されつつもどこか無骨さを感じられるような佇まいに。

“Contemporary Japanese Literature Repackaged for the Anglosphere and Beyond”
The same novel has been interpreted in diverse ways by different translators and cultures.
The visuals for this exhibition are designed to look as if the English text is printed on top of the Japanese title.
The Japanese text is repackaged, evoking the “translation” theme of this exhibition.
早稲田大学国際文学館（村上春樹ライブラリー）で開催中の
展覧会のメインビジュアル・展示のグラフィックを担当。
翻訳家・文化によって同じ小説でも多様な表現している本企画。
和文タイトルの上からさらに英文を重ねて刷られたようなデザインにすることで
日本語をリパッケージ、本展のテーマである「翻訳」を想起させている。
